Vintage Tile Installation

Vintage tiles are reclaimed tiles that have been taken down from old buildings in America.

Vintage tiles have a rustic look that cannot be recreated overnight. Each tile has been carefully removed by hand but the individual condition of each one is different. Unlike the new tiles the overlap rim around the perimeter is often gone. Hence, we give a guide size of 600 x 600 mm. But even this can change slightly.

To install these tiles you will need to either Nail or glue (or both) them to hard board. A subframe can be used if preferred.

Please note that many of these tiles are rusty, have paint falling off and are not clean. If using in a food area we recommend using a lacquer to seal them and prevent paint falling off.
